Danish Crown Prince visits Children’s Climate Call |
|
|
|
The event had a
royal visit today when His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik came
to Bella Center for a visit.
Crown Prince
Frederik was welcomed to Bella Center by LEGO owner Kjeld Kirk
Kristiansen and his wife Camilla. He was shown into the pit area
where the English team Widcombe Wrobotiers demonstrated the different
missions on the playing field, and how they planned to solve them.
Sizars from Korea
performed one of their great drum shows for him. The Crown Prince
then witnessed the robot competition up close. He watched three
rounds standing right next to the tables and was truly in the middle
of all the excitement and cheering. NXT Generation from Denmark even
had time to tell him about the competition before they had to set
their robot off.
Next stop on his
trip was the Climate Actions teams. He spoke to the teams who had a
chance to tell him about what they have been working on this weekend.
Thanks to everyone
for taking part in showing the Danish Crown Prince what FIRST LEGO®
League is all about!
