pb1167The first teams participating in the Children's Climate Call tournament have arrived in Copenhagen. One of the teams was The Green Umbrellas.

The sun is shining and it looks like it is going to be some fantastic days here in Copenhagen. We are all getting really excited, the tournament is just a few days away, and we hope that everybody has a safe trip! We are looking forward to seeing all of you in Denmark!

One of the things that we are concerned about is the ongoing swine influenza. We are constantly monitoring the progress throughout the world, and we´re hoping that it doesn´t affect any of our guests and teams traveling here.

The World Health Organization has announced in their last press:
"WHO advises no restriction of regular travel or closure of borders. It is considered prudent for people who are ill to delay international travel and for people developing symptoms following international travel to seek medical attention, in line with guidance from national authorities.

There is also no risk of infection from this virus from consumption of well-cooked pork and pork products. Individuals are advised to wash hands thoroughly with soap and water on a regular basis and should seek medical attention if they develop any symptoms of influenza-like illness."
