Copenhagen Airport is consistently voted one of the best in the world by consumer travel groups and magazines, and it has recently been extended with a spectacular new terminal. In 2005 19,9 million passengers used the airport, which serves approximately 130 cities worldwide. SAS and related partners of Star Alliance plus 60 other international airlines use Copenhagen. In 2005, the total number of take-offs/landings numbered over 268,000, which makes it the most important international air traffic hub in northern Europe.

Once you have landed in Copenhagen we suggest that you take a taxi to your hotel/hostel or board the train to Copenhagen central railway station.

Once at the central railway station you can walk to your hotels (guests staying at Radisson SAS Royal Hotel should definitely do so as it is situated right across the street) or take a taxi from there. If you choose to walk Scandic Copenhagen, Hotel Cab Inn City, and Design Hostel Copenhagen  are all within 10 – 15 minutes walking distance from the central train station. You can find links to maps of Copenhagen at Visit Copenhagen.

All hotels and hostels are located down-town Copenhagen.

We have arranged bus transport for all participants and guests to/from hotels/hostel to sight-seeing and tournament venues and to/from team and VIP parties from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. Please see Teams – Programme and Guests – Programme for details.
