NIRAS is a partner in Children's Climate Call, because we give very high priorities to both children and climate. Climate because it is a major challenge for our common future, children because they will be the ones to have to face this challenge - and we believe they can do it because they can contribute with some fresh and unbiased thinking, which we will certainly see during Children's Climate Call.

The LEGO Group is a partner in Children’s Climate Call because it is a forum for “the builders of tomorrow” to let their voice be heard concerning matters of importance to them . The world of tomorrow will require that children of today learn about the challenges of tomorrow and how to act upon them. Through our participation in Children’s Climate Call we wish to contribute to realizing the tremendous potential that we believe children from around the globe have. The majority of kids in a recent study made by the LEGO Group feel that one person can make a difference, and that this individual does not need to be a genius to do so! |

FIRST Scandinavia aims to inspire and stimulate children and youths to become interested in the natural sciences, and technical/mathematical subjects through engaging projects where the children themselves are the driving force.
The board consists of members from Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The administration is situated in Bodø, Norway, and also has a department in Kongsberg, Norway.
The foundation FIRST Scandinavia was established September 18, 2000.
The idea behind the foundation is the realization among several Scandinavian organizations, commercial as well as governmental, that our society is lacking talented recruits within the natural sciences.
Our aim is to turn this trend around by offering children/youths across Scandinavia fun and engaging learning activities, focusing on technology and the natural sciences through various projects.
